Hard coat anodized aluminum

Slight variations in a conventional anodizing process tank, like subzero temperatures, create a harder surface that provides great corrosion resistance and durability. It is extremely insusceptible to abrasion. It has been compared to diamond hardness and is very similar chemically and physically to sapphire. Generally is darker in color and does not offer much coloring options.
